TERMS & CONDITIONS and WAIVER OF LIABILITY

Thank you for joining GHANA TOURS AFRICA. Travel services are provided to you subject to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions bind you, all members of your travel party, and all minor dependents in your legal care.

References in these terms and conditions to Ghana Tours Africa include its employees, agents, contractors, and suppliers, and these terms and conditions apply to their benefit. Ghana Tours Africa (“GHANA TOURS AFRICA” or “Tour Operator”) operates tours and travel services. By booking or participating in a tour or any other tour product, you (“you” or “Client”) agree to these terms and conditions (“Terms”). If you make a booking on behalf of other participants, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept these Terms on behalf of all participants in your party.

Read carefully. This affects your legal rights.You hereby waive any and all claims you may have now and in the future and release from all liability and agree not to sue Ghana Tours Africa, its officers, agents, representatives, employees, or tour guides for any personal injury, death, property damage, or loss sustained by you as a result of your participation in travel, tours, and services provided.

Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent risks. Transportation, accommodations, and itineraries may change without prior notice due to circumstances beyond the Tour Operator’s control. Ghana Tours Africa reserves the right to amend, reroute, reschedule, or cancel tours when necessary. You acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that you assume all risks associated with travel, physical activity, illness, environmental conditions, and local infrastructure. Additional costs resulting from itinerary changes will be the responsibility of the client.

Third-Party Operators

Ghana Tours Africa works with trusted third-party suppliers to provide services. However, the Tour Operator acts solely as an agent between participants and these suppliers and cannot be held responsible for their actions. All third-party services are subject to their own terms and conditions.

Airfare

Tour prices do not include airfare unless expressly stated. Any airfare quotes provided are estimates only. Airlines’ terms and conditions apply, and Ghana Tours Africa is not responsible for flight delays, cancellations, or changes.

Participant Responsibilities

You agree to conduct yourself responsibly, comply with local laws, and choose activities suitable for your abilities. The Tour Operator reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior endangers others or disrupts the tour, without refund.

Medical Issues

You must disclose any medical conditions prior to booking. Tours may involve remote areas with limited access to medical facilities. You are responsible for carrying required medications and securing adequate medical and travel insurance. Ghana Tours Africa is not liable for illness, injury, or medical expenses incurred during the tour.

Travel Insurance

Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, delays, evacuation, and loss of personal effects. Insurance costs are not included in tour prices.

Information & Documentation

You are responsible for providing accurate personal, passport, health, and travel information. Ghana Tours Africa is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete information or failure to obtain required travel documents.

Liability

You release and discharge Ghana Tours Africa, its partners, representatives, agents, and suppliers from all liability arising from participation in the tour, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Force Majeure

Ghana Tours Africa shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, transportation disruptions, or acts of God.

COVID-19 and Other Diseases

You acknowledge the risks associated with global health conditions and agree to comply with all local health regulations. Refunds or rescheduling will be governed by supplier and insurance policies.

Publicity

You grant Ghana Tours Africa a worldwide, royalty-free license to use photographs, video, or audio recordings taken during the tour for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.

Prices, Payment & Cancellation

Tour prices may change due to external factors. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing. Cancellation fees apply based on notice period:

120–90 days: 75% refundable (less deposit)90–60 days: 50% refundable (less deposit)60–30 days: 25% refundable (less deposit)Less than 30 days: No refund

If a tour is cancelled by Ghana Tours Africa for reasons other than Force Majeure, clients will receive a credit voucher for future use.

Amendments

Ghana Tours Africa reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

By purchasing a tour, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, Waiver, and Release of Liability.
