Accra City Heritage Tour – Legacies of Pioneers Dive deep into the heart of Ghana's capital. Today, we trace the steps of intellectual giants and national founders. We visit the W.E.B. Du Bois Center and the stately Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, honoring Ghana’s first president and the pan-Africanist movement. Experience the vibrant energy and organized chaos of the sprawling Makola Market before driving through historic James Town to see its colonial architecture and iconic lighthouse. Your day ends with Lunch at a traditional Ghanaian restaurant and a special Dinner and Cultural Storytelling Session. Overnight in Accra
Cape Coast & Elmina Slave Route Tour – The Door of No Return. This is a day of deep historical significance and emotional reflection. We depart early for the Central Region. Our guided tour begins at Cape Coast Castle, followed by the profound walk through the infamous "Door of No Return." We continue to Elmina Castle, the oldest European structure in sub-Saharan Africa. The evening is dedicated to communal healing with a Reflections Circle on African Heritage, allowing space to process and connect after witnessing these essential historical sites. Overnight in Cape Coast/Elmina
Kakum National Park & Assin Manso – Nature and Remembrance. Begin the morning with an exhilarating experience high above the forest floor on the Kakum National Park Canopy Walk, followed by an optional nature hike. We then travel to Assin Manso Slave River, the site where enslaved ancestors were allowed their final bath before being marched to the castles. This sacred place serves as a powerful memorial and a poignant reminder of resilience. We return to Accra in the evening for dinner at leisure. Overnight in Accra
Traditional Kingdom Experience – The Ashanti Gold We journey to the Ashanti Region, the heartland of Ghana’s richest culture. Our day focuses on the legacy of the Ashanti Kingdom in Kumasi. We tour the Manhyia Palace Museum, the seat of the Ashanti king, and the Prempeh II Jubilee Museum. We then immerse ourselves in the commercial hub of West Africa at the colossal Kejetia Market. The afternoon includes a hands-on exploration of renowned Ashanti craft traditions: the symbolism of Adinkra cloth, the intricate weaving of Kente, and the mastery of wood carving. Overnight in Kumasi
Volta Region Nature Tour – Scenic Beauty and Ewe Culture Enjoy a change of pace as we head east to the Volta Region, known for its lush mountains and stunning waterfalls. We will visit the breathtaking Boti Falls or Wli Waterfalls (depending on the season and accessibility) and enjoy a scenic drive through vibrant Ewe cultural villages. Returning to Accra in the evening, the tour culminates with a celebratory Farewell Dinner, giving us one last chance to connect as a family and share memories from the incredible journey.
